September Faves

I need to stop leaving it so long between posts... I haven't been posting much lately, even on to Instagram but I think it is because I've been feeling really unmotivated to write. I have a few exciting things coming up in the next few months and it's fast approaching my fave season so, I will (hopefully) have more things to post about! I thought I would do a short post about my August/September faves:

1. Anniversary dinner with my gf

A few weeks ago it was my mine and my girlfriend's anniversary. We've officially been together for two years now (still can't believe it has gone that quick!). I didn't snap all of the food but we had gone for a three-course meal at Miller & Carter and it was incredible! For starters, Lauren had baked cheddar mushrooms and I had salt & pepper calamari (I've never eaten calamari before and it was soooo tasty). Lauren had the filet steak for her main and since I'm not a massive steak fan, I played it safe with the buttermilk chicken - which actually came out as HALF a chicken, so I couldn't finish it all. By dessert, we were literally in a food coma and really didn't need to eat anymore but we still ordered the sticky toffee pudding, which we did regret straight away but there's always a tiny bit of room left for pudding!

For anyone who hasn't eaten at Miller & Carter, I would recommend 100%. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. I cannot wait to go back.

2. Fashion

The quality has been ruined by my phone (yes, I'm ready for an upgrade). At the moment, I have really been loving prints. Whether it be animal print or funky shirts.

For anybody that knows me personally, will know that I absolutely love a bargain! I'm one of those people who doesn't mind looking in the sales, because I know I will always find something cool. For instance the leopard print cami - I found that in the sale in Primark for £1. Literally a pound!! It's not really warm enough to wear it on its own anymore so I layered it with a long-sleeved top and it still looks just as nice!

I'm going to Disneyland at the end of next month so I need to start looking for some cute, weather-appropriate outfits. If you any good websites/clothing stores or even Instagram accounts that are good inspo, let me know!

3. Faves:

Just a few of my favourite's at the moment: pink grapefruit daily moisturiser - found in Primark for just £2, initial 'J' necklace also found in Primark, the black & white print found in Poundland with the lovely pink frame from Ikea, Snow Fairy (lush inspired) wax melt from Moonpiie Cosmetics, Orange Blossom & Argan Oil bubble cream from Imperial Leather, Iya Shave Oil from Naturally Tribal (cannot live without), Dr Botanical's pink grapefruit sleep-in face mask and the Delhicious Body coffee scrub which I received in this month's Glossybox.

If you have never tried any of these products, you really need to! I love baths and body scrubs so these two are the perfect combo! I think I have tried almost every Imperial Leather bubble bath and they're all amazing but this one is my favourite by far.

Let me know if you have any favourites from this month or if you have been up to anything special! I would love to know about it!
